Eurovision Top 10–Madonna Lucia

MAD AS A BRUSH! Love Madonna Lucia who never fails to make me laugh! I HAD to put her comments into the post coz I pissed meself when I read them!

At ten we have the ultimate sickener performance Greece – Kalomira ‘Secret combination’ 2008. Its like being forcefed rainbows sugar and unicorns by a Disney princess.

Followed at nine by the ULTIMATE DRAG PERFORMANCE in the universe by Belarus – Angelica Agurbash ‘Love me tonight’ 2005, with no less than three costume changes. So gay it didn’t qualify.

At eight is the actual best DRAG PERFORMANCE EVER by Ukraine – Ani Lorak ‘Shady lady’ 2008 like Wonderwoman in heat surrounded by hot guys.

At seven is a song that isn’t amazing but the performance and delivery was spot on and summed up everything about France- Patricia Kaas ‘S’ll fallait le faire’ 2009. She was AMAZING.

At sixth place is Ireland – Jedward ‘Lipstick’ 2011, I saw this live and it was just unbelievable. Jedicated!

Getting more serious in fifth place is Estonia -Urban Symphony’ Ranjadad’ 2009. This was a total outsider and did very well, I just thought it was really cool and effortless.

In fourth place is Bulgaria – Elitsa & Stoyan ‘Water’ 2007. I loved how mental this was.

My top 3 starting with the best rock song in ages by Georgia –Eldrine ‘One more day’ 2011. This was awesome.

My number 2 favourite ever is Cyprus – Constantinos Christoforou ‘Ela Ela’ 2005, just soooo quality with a capital G.A.Y.

My number ONE all time fav is Bosnia-Herzegovina – Deen ‘ In the Disco’ 2004 because its gayer than a bag of Dicks and I always laugh when I see it.

The Sims diamond jubilee

As some of ya know, the Queen of England has her diamond jubilee this weekend and while I personally have no interest given the whole occupation of part of our island thing and the fightin for independence etc etc, I know a lot of readers will be. The Sims, the world’s biggest sellin video game, has been made into a spoof of it. I know Diva will like this. Argentina maybe not so much!

One Direction cartoon

This is nice but also a little strange! It’s a One Direction fan made cartoon which has them as Power Ranger like superheroes! This chap clearly has a LOT of time on his hands! The Adventurous Adventures of One Direction features cartoon versions of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne with very bad accents!

S Club Reunion

Well there was lots of talk yesterday about S Club makin a return but sadly it turned out to be a bit of a joke with Jo, Paul and Bradley singin over themselves and the backin dancers lookin like they’d been pulled out of the audience five minutes earlier! SCARLET for them. It was filmed for TV in Australia and Dannii Minogue was the guest host.

I’ve seen Jo and Bradley live in Cork and they were actually very good. I don’t see the reunion happenin now to be honest but it’s worth a look for the laugh!

Les Miserables trailer

This looks really good and ya know me for a musical. It has Anne Hathway, Amanda Seyfried, Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe so could be really good. From what Diva tells me, the musical has some great songs and is well worth a watch so I’ll be checkin it out when it comes out.

These lads are hilarious! They can be found at Epic News Daily and usually give their gas commentary over Tallafornia. This time the Eurovision song contest got a go over and the lads are really on form. Check it out!

Formula 1 is coming to Dublin

Ya might not know this but when I was a youngone I wanted to be a formula 1 driver! I’ve always been into car racin’ and so I’m kinda ragin I can’t make it to Dublin this weekend to go see the Bavaria City Racing where there’s gonna be lots of fast cars on the streets of Dublin, and I’m not talkin about a gang of youngfellas joyridin in Tesco carpark. The big attractions are gonna be the Caterham Formula 1 team PLUS the big ride Jenson Button in his McLaren! SPIT ON ME JENSON!

Glee finale

I know a lot of people don’t watch Glee anymore but I still love it just as I did back in the start, mainly coz I wish life was like that and people would just burst into song randomly everywhere they go! It’d be great fun. People would think I was Tulisa walkin through Waterford.

I watched the season finale the other day and cried about 5 times. I’m dyin to see what happens now next year what with the older ones all graduatin. This version of Madonna’s I’ll Remember by Kurt was lovely! Lookin forward to season 4.

Down Under is one of me favourite songs of ALL TIME and for some reason I thought of this ad that uses the song today! Great version of the song. I’d love to find the actual version of it if anyone knows where I can get it!!

I’ve decided I’m not lettin’ this tune go! La La Love was the Cypriot Eurovision entry and thought it’d do so much better than it did. 12 points from Sweden show just how good a tune it is! Will be rockin’ to this one for a while.

Swedish Royal Guards perform Euphoria

Now Eurovision winnin song Euphoria has gone to number 1 in 18 countries on iTunes, there’s talk of it becommin the biggest Eurovision song since Waterloo. In celebration of the win, the Swedish Royal Guards performed the song today at the Royal Palace in Stockholm!

Sweden wins the Eurovision

As predicted, Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest with their club song Euphoria by the slightly weird Loreen! This is already racing up the charts around Europe and a few people are predictin it to be the biggest Eurovision hit since Waterloo!

Tina from S Club releases single

Tina was always the one in S Club that was there more for her actin ability than her singin. They used her loads in the TV show but not so much in the band and now here she is with her own single called Fire! I dunno how I feel about it yet. I hope S Club reunite soon!

Loreen chokes on a snowflake during the jury final!

Poor Loreen! Favourite by MILES but last night at the jury final she choked on a snowflake plus Romania and Serbia messed up their lines meanin it’s now Jedward’s for the taking!! Hope they do it! Have everything crossed!

Spain’s Eurovision entrant Pastora Soler has been told to lose the competition coz they won’t be able to hold it next year although to be fair, it’s unlikely she’ll win. Poor Pastora. I’d actually cause blue murder if it was me.

Disco legend and all round superstar Donna Summer passed away today after a long battle with cancer. She’d be best known for her songs such as I Feel Love and Hot Stuff but this is one of my favourites of hers. She’ll be missed!

Madagascar 3

The 20 second bus journey

If ya have a good look at this picture you’ll see a plane. It’s a plane I waited 15 minutes to get off coz a bus had to come get us to bring us to the terminal. If you look at the left of the picture you’ll see where we got off the bus. Surprisingly, this happened in Krakow and not Kerry!

This took place around the world the other day for some charity or other. It’s a world record attempt at the most people doin a Bollywood routine to Jai Ho which if anyone realised is actually MY number! CHEEK! Anyway, this video is from the London part.

For those lookin forward to the Eurovision in less than 2 weeks, here’s the latest on the bettin. Expect Jedward to get a lot closer to Sweden in the next 2 weeks as the marketin machine kicks in. Romania might move up too. Sweden are the hottest favourites for a long time and its unlikely at this stage that anyone can beat them.

It has been confirmed that Demi Lovato will join Simon Cowell, LA Reid and Britney Spears on X-Factor USA this year. Again, I never watched it but dyin to see if Britney has a breakdown. Not familiar with Demi’s work but I know she’s some form of Disney child. This should be interestin.

Ashleigh and Pudsey win Britain’s Got Talent

I’ve been dippin in and out of Britain’s Got Talent over the last few weeks but I did see Ashleigh and Pudsey’s very first audition and was very impressed. I missed the final last night but caught up with it on YouTube and am very impressed at how good they were. Delighted they won!

After impressin on Britain’s Got Talent, Alesha Dixon is bein lined up to replace Kelly Rowland on X-Factor. Both Dannii Minogue and Katy Perry have turned it down accordin to sources (I read it on the internet) I like Alesha. I hope she does it and she does a duet with Tulisa!

In 2010 I contacted FLTV in Liechtenstein about enterin the Eurovision song contest and I got a very nice reply sayin they had no plans to enter until their licence was accepted which is fair enough. Seein as Eurovision is 2 weeks away, I thought I’d share with yiz my song for Liechtenstein!

This is so cute! Especially the fella at the front. Jedward jetted off this mornin to the Eurovision Song Contest in Baku, Azerbaijan to represent Ireland and hopefully bring back what is rightfully ours! This flashmob was started by their friends in Dublin airport and if the support is like that elsewhere in Europe we’re in for a great few weeks!

Britney Spears signs for X-Factor USA

So after all the hype and talk about it, Britney has signed on for X-Factor USA in a deal worth $15 million! That’s a lot of money. Britney’s last album wasn’t that much of a smash and her tour didn’t sell out so she could do with the publicity. I didn’t watch it last year but I might just to see her have a meltdown!

Illegal traveller sulky race in Cork

This is doin the rounds in the news here in Ireland at the moment after it was uploaded to YouTube. The race was on the main Cork to Mallow road and it’s one of the busiest routes in the country. In case ya don’t know, sulky racin is a tradition with Irish travellers that they sometimes use for bettin and settlin scores when they’re not beatin the shite out of each other.

Justin Baber graduates from high school

Isn’t he so cute? Justin Bieber has graduated from high school to please his mother. He told the Telegraph -

"It was hard doing school and work every day. That was something my mum really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her. I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life. Well accordin to Justin Bieber and People she is. Sources say that she was so good at the Dublin auditions in 2010 that Simon wants to sign her up seein as Dannii Minogue who was favourite to return won’t be able to because of schedulin conflicts with Australia’s Got Talent. Personally I like Katy and seein as they’re unlikely to call me now at this stage, she can have the job!

It’s no Friday but Sing It is the new song by Rebecca Black. It’s her on a beach walking along. I hope it does really well coz I like Rebecca! She makes me smile. I think I’m goin to go put Friday on repeat!

Ostrich tries to escape!

This video of an ostrich escapin from a farm and runnin down the road was filmed in Saudi Arabia which actually looks like a bit of a shit hole even considerin all the oil money they have! Someone even tried knockin it down although it just got up and ran through the Drive Thru instead. I hope it got away in the end!

Miss Ireland stripped of title

The new Miss Ireland Maire Hughes has been stripped of her title after only a few days after it was found out she’d be too old to compete in the Miss World competition which is going to be on in China later in the year.

Maire who was Miss Mayo said she was 21 in her application and turns out she’ll be 26 at her next birthday. The cut off age is 24. Poor girl, but that’s the cost of lyin in application forms!

Ah the land down under! Sydney was nice, although not as nice as Brisbane but nice all the same. Me trip to see me cousin Wanda was excitin and clearly I did stuff that Australians do like play didgerydoos and drink Fosters.

Are Liberty X reuniting?!

Well it seems that every band that ever broke up have had rumours about them reuniting and now that Take That and Steps have been successful at it, Liberty X seem to be the next ones to come back although they’re sayin it’s not true. Ya might remember that Liberty X were made up of the losers of the first Popstars show while the winners went on the become Hear’Say. Dyin to see how this one turns out!

Dark Knight Rises new trailer

I’m a big Batman fan but I’m not sure I’m too happy with the idea that this film is goin to be the last, especially coz the first 2 were so good and there’s LOADS more storylines and villains for him to fight and what about Robin and Batgirl? I’m lookin forward to it although probably not as much as the Avengers! I can’t help thinkin that we’re seein a new Batman here played by your man from that programme that’s in the trailer!
